Who won the Forever Open?

Warlockguy won the Forever Open, beating Neepzen 3–1 in the best-of-five grand final. Raider.IO’s official bracket records a Warlock mirror match, with Warlockguy recovering from a first-game loss to win the next three.

The finals were scheduled for October 18. If you arrived here from the Reddit celebration, the official bracket is the source for the scores below.

The final four

Warlockguy reached the grand final after a 2–0 lower-final win over Cdewx. Cdewx had eliminated Oddwaffletv in the lower semifinal. Both of those opponents are listed as Shamans in the bracket.

The bracket links Warlockguy’s 5/21/0 allocation and a separate 5/21/0 allocation for Neepzen. Matching totals do not mean every point is in the same place. Open the individual calculator links in the sources to inspect the exact choices.

These are event build references. Save the date and the allocation if you want to compare them later, since beta talent changes can alter what a point does.

Should a leveling Warlock copy the winner?

The result shows what these players achieved in this competition. It does not establish the fastest questing build or a ranking of every class. The event used a double-elimination bracket with its own equipment and consumable restrictions.

For a character still leveling, ask what a talent changes during ordinary pulls. Does it help you recover between enemies, keep your pet useful or finish the kinds of quests you are actually doing? A choice made for one difficult duel may solve a different problem from a whole evening of questing.

Use our Warlock talent guide to read the tree in a leveling context. Try a change on familiar enemies before rebuilding your whole route around a tournament result.

Starting a Warlock after watching the finals?

Choose the starting route for your race first. A talent calculator is useful preparation, but it will not tell you which nearby quest to pick up next or which prerequisites you have already completed.
