Get everything in one ZIP.
Sign in with your order email, connect Battle.net and choose Download my guides. All your released guides download together.
Leave Include Wisp checked to install or update the addon too.
Put the folders into WoW.
Close WoW and unzip your download. Copy the ForeverWisp folder and any ForeverWispPack_… guide folders into your game’s Interface/AddOns folder.
Copy the folders inside the download, not the ZIP or its outer folder. Keep guide folders beside ForeverWisp, not inside it.
Where is my AddOns folder?
In Battle.net, select the World of Warcraft game version you actually play (Forever beta), open the gear menu beside Play and choose Show in Explorer (Windows) or Reveal in Finder (Mac). From that installation, open _classic_beta_/Interface/AddOns/. If Battle.net opens _classic_beta_ itself, continue into Interface/AddOns/. Create Interface and AddOns if missing.
_classic_beta_/Interface/AddOns/How do I unzip the download?
Windows: In File Explorer, right-click the ZIP and choose Extract All. Open the extracted download folder, then copy the inner addon folder. For a combined guide download, copy all the included addon folders.
Mac: In Finder, double-click the ZIP. Open the extracted download if it contains another folder. Copy the addon folder that has its matching .toc file immediately inside it. Repeat for each included addon folder.
Check that the folders are in the right place
This example shows Wisp and one purchased guide. Your combined download may contain several guide folders.

Open Wisp in game.
Start WoW. At character selection, open AddOns and enable ForeverWisp and your guide addons. Enter the game and type
/wispin chat.Choose your character’s guide in the Library. For a gathering guide, open Library → Professions and choose your profession and skill range.

Updating Wisp.
Close WoW before updating. Replace matching addon folders, and keep your WTF folder and SavedVariables to preserve progress.
Update the addon and purchased guides
In My library, choose Download my guides and leave Include Wisp checked. Install the folders from the new ZIP together.
If you use CurseForge, it updates the free addon. Your personalised guide updates still download from My library.
Close WoW. In CurseForge, select the same Forever installation and update ForeverWisp. For a manual ZIP update, extract and open the download, then replace only AddOns/ForeverWisp with the inner ForeverWisp folder. Keep personal guide packs beside it. Download updated personal packs from My library, even if you use CurseForge for Wisp. Keep your WTF folder and SavedVariables to preserve existing progress.
Moving from an old private-beta install
Only for previous private testers: remove obsolete ForeverWisp_BetaRoutes, ForeverWisp_HumanBetaTest, ForeverWisp_DungeonTest, ForeverWisp_Professions and ForeverWisp_Gathering150 folders from AddOns to avoid duplicate guides. The released free guides are now bundled in ForeverWisp. Keep paid ForeverWispPack_* folders and your WTF/SavedVariables. Classic alpha progress may not map to the new routes.
If you used the private gathering candidate, replace ForeverWisp_GatheringMax with your personal paid packs. Keep your WTF folder and SavedVariables.
Uninstall Wisp
Close WoW and remove the ForeverWisp folder from Interface/AddOns. If you also want to remove purchased guides, remove their ForeverWispPack_… folders. Keep SavedVariables if you may return; deleting those files removes local saved records.
SOMETHING NOT WORKING?
Let’s get it sorted.
Wisp is absent from WoW’s AddOns list
Use Battle.net to locate the active game installation. Check AddOns/ForeverWisp/ForeverWisp.toc: the .toc must be immediately inside ForeverWisp. If you see foreverwisp-addon-0.28.24-beta.1 or another download wrapper in AddOns, move its inner ForeverWisp folder into AddOns. Fully quit and restart WoW, then enable ForeverWisp for your character. Do not edit the interface number to force an old build to load.
Wisp works, but my purchased guide is missing
Keep Wisp installed. Your purchased guide is an additional folder. Download your personal pack from My library and copy the inner ForeverWispPack_* folder beside ForeverWisp. Its matching .toc must be immediately inside. Restart WoW and enable both entries in AddOns. Update Wisp to the compatible version shown in setup and download the pack again if prompted. In /wisp, check the correct faction guide or Library → Professions for your character and skill.
My guide is visible but account-locked
Check that My library is linked to the same Battle.net account you use in WoW. Download a fresh personal pack after linking or re-verifying a renamed BattleTag, replace that pack folder and restart WoW. A different linked account needs support; reinstalling the free addon or deleting saved progress will not unlock the pack.
My settings or progress aren’t saving
On 30 September, native checks preserved a Human starter’s selected guide and position through reload and an addon upgrade. On 1 October, a separate check preserved paid-guide access through reload and character logout/login. These checks do not cover every setting, later route progress or progress through a full client restart on the current release. Keep your SavedVariables when updating; send feedback if settings or progress reset.
Read the player reports about saving. Website checklists and in-game progress remain separate.
Performance problems or other known issues
A brief level-up hitch was recorded on 23 September. Later releases reduced repeated processing, including route, quest-log, farming and nameplate work in 0.28.2-beta.1. Versions 0.28.3-beta.1 and 0.28.4-beta.1 further reduce browser, travel, route, quest and progress processing. The owner reported that a short questing test of the 0.28.4 runtime felt fine. That session does not establish that the earlier level-up hitch is fixed. If it recurs on the latest addon, send feedback with your addon version, client build and what triggered it. Disable Wisp if play is disrupted.

Accounts and guide access.
How do I access my purchased guides?
The free addon needs no account. For purchased guides, sign in to My library with your order email. Connect the Battle.net account you use in WoW, then choose Download my guides.
One ZIP contains all your released, owned guides. Include Wisp is checked by default, so the same download can install or update the free addon. Planned guides appear as they release.
Your personal packs always come from My library, even when CurseForge updates Wisp. The ZIP contains separate addon folders; copy them all into Interface/AddOns.
I bought on my phone. How do I download on my computer?
Can I read my guide online instead?
Both paid levelling guides include online readers. Open your guide in My library to read it; no Battle.net connection or addon installation is needed. Gathering guides are in-game packs and do not include an online reader.
What’s available beyond level 20?
The Alliance and Horde 20–35 guides are available now to owners of the corresponding 20–60 pre-order or the launch collection. Later 35–60 bands are included when released.
Can I choose another starting area?
Open Library → Other starts to browse routes in your faction. Read the warning, choose I understand · Allow this route, then review the starting point.
This is not recommended. You are likely to miss class quests, including pet unlocks. Some quests and profession stops may be unavailable. You must reach the area yourself; selecting a guide does not move your character or unlock quests.
Each guide keeps its progress. Return from any active detour and turn off Quest together before changing routes.

Gathering guide help.
Choose a guide for your profession and current skill.
Do I need to buy a levelling guide?
No. Mining, Herbalism and Skinning guides cover skill 1–300. Start free through skill 150, then choose an individual continuation or all three in the gathering pack. No levelling guide purchase required.
Each 150–300 continuation costs $6.99, or choose all three for $11.99. The full professions pack also includes nine other planned guides.
Are these included in my existing purchase?
Launch collection owners have access to all three paid gathering continuations now, with no extra purchase. A levelling-only guide does not include them.
Eligible individual gathering purchases count towards the gathering pack. Review the upgrade price in My library before paying.
How do I install and select a gathering guide?
The free 1–150 guides come inside Wisp. For 150–300, sign in to My library, connect Battle.net and choose Download my guides. Leave Include Wisp checked, then follow the installation steps above. Wisp 0.27.2 or later is required.
Open /wisp, then Library → Professions. Choose your profession and the 1–150 or 150–300 guide matching your skill and character. A character at skill 150 can start the continuation directly.
Your levelling progress is kept. Use the Library to return to it. Paid gathering continuations do not add new profession stops to the 20–35 quest routes.
What should I know before using the higher-skill routes?
These routes have been reviewed against online sources. Some late-game skill gains, spawn locations and connecting terrain remain provisional. Skill 300 is a profession target, not a character level. Later circuits enter hostile high-level areas; the guide does not make them suitable for a low-level character.

How to send feedback from Wisp
Choose Send feedback in the addon, or type /wisp feedback. Describe what happened or share an idea. Open the feedback page first, return to Wisp and choose Copy feedback, then press Ctrl+C (Cmd+C on Mac). Paste it into the website and submit. No account is needed.
Feedback drafts are temporary. Copy or send your report before reloading.
Between the beta closing on 21 October and launch on 4 November, the game is offline, so Send feedback in the addon can’t be used. Write to us on the feedback page instead. No account is needed.
If Wisp cannot open, use the feedback page with your addon version, client build, operating system and what happened. Do not send your entire WTF folder.
