Thank you
The WoW Forever beta closes on 21 October. Before it does, we want to thank everyone who played it with Wisp. Every download, every purchase and every report has helped shape the guide.
Since 22 September, we have shipped more than 80 Wisp updates. Many of them started with something you told us: a quest picked up in the wrong order, a walk back across a zone or a step that wasn’t clear.
Your feedback is already in the guide
Some of the changes you asked for are already in the latest Wisp release:
- Fewer return trips, with nearby rewards and follow-ups handled together before you move on.
- Pickups that follow their prerequisites, so quests appear in the order the game makes them available.
- More questing on several routes, with new circuits for Night Elf, Tauren, Dwarf and Gnome characters and on Horde 20–35.
- Clearer travel, with flight connections, road alternatives and directions that pick up again after a reload or a trip by hearthstone.
- Saved progress that carries forward through every update.
What we’re working on
We are working through all of your feedback. Here’s what’s coming next. Each change will appear in the release notes as it ships.
More ways to customise Wisp
Standard, Minimal and Large text presets, a layout editor to move and resize the guide, arrow and notices, optional hiding in combat, and appearance profiles you can use across your characters.
Route improvements
Tighter quest order and better grouping of nearby quests, so each zone flows with fewer detours.
Hearthstone suggestions
Where to set your hearthstone and when to use it, so you can hearth back to a quest hub instead of taking the long way.
Smoother journeys
Cleaner handovers between zones and chapters, with better use of flight paths.
Clearer instructions and fixes
Clearer step wording, and fixes for the issues you reported in the addon and on the website.
Between now and launch
WoW Forever launches on 4 November. Everything you have bought stays in your library, and later levelling bands are included as they are released.
Send feedback in the addon needs the game running. While the beta is offline, you can still reach us through the feedback page on our website. No account is needed.
See you on 4 November
Thank you for testing a beta addon on a beta game, for your patience when things went wrong and for taking the time to tell us. We can’t wait to see you in Azeroth.
