Early-access emails
If you join, ForeverWisp stores your email address, selected interest, consent record and signup time to manage the early-access list and send the launch and guide updates you requested. The form does not take payment details. We do not sell the list.
A successful signup means your entry has been stored. No confirmation email is sent immediately. Any update email will include an unsubscribe option.
Remove a signup
The browser used to join receives an essential management cookie. From that browser, open early access and choose “Remove my signup” to delete the entry. If that cookie is cleared, this self-service management link will no longer identify the signup. If you no longer have that browser cookie, email hello@foreverwisp.com from the address you used to join and ask us to remove it.
Saved guide progress
Checklist steps are saved in the site’s database against a random browser identifier. The identifier is held in an HTTP-only cookie for up to one year. Progress is linked to that browser, not an account, and does not sync between devices. Clearing cookies removes this browser’s access to its previous record. “Reset checklist” clears the saved completed steps for the current guide.
Addon and interactive preview
The addon saves progress per character in WoW’s SavedVariables and does not send telemetry to ForeverWisp. Website and addon progress do not sync. The interactive product preview and any temporary checklist keep changes only in the open page and discard them on reload.
Appearance and animation
Theme and animation choices are stored locally in your browser. They are preferences, not the source of truth for your saved guide steps. Reduced-motion settings are respected.
Download requests
When you request the addon download, the application records the addon version and which bundled guide led to setup, or “product-page”, in hosting logs. This event does not include an email, browser identifier or game character. It counts requests, not unique players or installations. Hosting infrastructure may keep its own ordinary request logs.
Hosting and external services
The site uses Vercel hosting and a Postgres database. Fonts currently load from Google Fonts, which receives normal font requests from your browser. We do not add advertising trackers or third-party analytics in this release. Links to Blizzard leave ForeverWisp and are subject to Blizzard’s own policies.
Retention and launch readiness
Signups remain until removed or until the early-access programme ends, when unused entries should be deleted. Progress records remain until reset or removed by the site operator. For privacy questions or a request to remove your data, contact ForeverWisp at hello@foreverwisp.com.
