DoesItDie for WoW Forever: a DoT tracker for leveling
DoesItDie estimates remaining damage over time in WoW Forever. See the author’s demonstration, supported use cases and limits before trying it while leveling.

See the damage that is still coming
DoesItDie estimates how much damage your active damage-over-time spells have left to deal. The author’s September 24 demonstration shows that estimate on the target’s health bar and a marker when the remaining damage is expected to finish it.
For a character that fights with DoTs, that answers a familiar question: should you cast again, or let the effects already running finish the pull? The author later added nameplate support in version 0.5.0.
An estimate, not a guaranteed kill
The author says the addon tracks your own cast DoTs, not party damage or procs, and does not account for enemy healing. Its calculations combine prepared values with corrections while playing. The author initially tested low-level Druid, Warlock and Hunter characters.
Keep watching the target. A prediction is helpful information, but it is not a reason to ignore healing, changes in the fight or a result that does not match what you see.
Try it on familiar enemies first
Our recommendation is to start with a short stretch of ordinary questing. Watch how the prediction compares with what happens when you stop casting. Keep your usual escape options available.
If an estimate repeatedly looks wrong, note the spell, rank, talents and target. Send a useful example to the project author rather than assuming every class shares the same problem.

DoesItDie answers a combat question. Wisp helps you follow the next step in a supported guide. If you want both kinds of help, inspect each tool’s purpose and limitations before adding more to your interface.
We have not tested them together or measured a leveling-speed improvement. Wisp does not include DoesItDie, and neither project’s demonstration proves compatibility with the other.
