WoW Forever Graverobber’s Shovel: where to get it and what it finds

Find the Graverobber’s Shovel in WoW Forever, check its level requirement and digging locations, and see what one player found after using all 20 charges.

A Stockade weapon with a grave-digging use

Graverobber’s Shovel is a level-23 two-handed mace listed as a drop from Dextren Ward in the Stockade. Its use digs at Raven Hill Cemetery or Scarlet Monastery Graveyard, with 20 charges and a two-minute cooldown.

A popular October 7 Reddit post brought it to wider attention after one player used every charge in Raven Hill. Their report is useful if you are deciding whether to try a shovel you already own. It does not establish a reliable gold farm.

Where it drops and what to check

The item record lists it as bind on pickup and unique. Its equipment bonuses are 10 Stamina and 12 Attack Power, with the Attack Power doubled against Undead.

Before planning a trip, check that your character can equip the weapon and meets its requirement. If you already have one, look at the remaining charges on your own tooltip. The screenshot below was taken partway through the player’s session, so it shows 10 charges remaining rather than a fresh item’s 20.

Treat a Stockade run as a dungeon trip first. Decide whether the group wants its quests and other rewards before spending the session chasing this one drop. We are not quoting the database’s observed drop percentage as a settled beta drop rate.

What happened in the 20-charge Raven Hill test?

Reddit user u/BobFreeman6969 recorded nine Grave Moss results and eleven level-30 Disturbed Ghoul spawns. They reported that the ghouls gave neither experience nor loot. The full session took them about an hour.

Those are the outcomes of one player’s 20 uses in one location. Nine out of twenty is not proof of the true Grave Moss chance, and this sample cannot establish every possible result. It also does not tell us whether Scarlet Monastery Graveyard behaves identically.

Is it worth a detour while leveling?

If you already own the shovel and have things to do in Raven Hill, trying a charge between nearby objectives is a reasonable way to explore it. Leave yourself room to handle a hostile spawn before digging. At a low level, the reported level-30 ghoul is a more important consideration than the possibility of an extra herb.

If you would need a dedicated dungeon farm, a long journey and time waiting between uses, the current evidence gives little reason to reorganise your leveling session around it. You can enjoy a small discovery without treating it as the next essential money-making method.

For a useful follow-up report, record the location, remaining charges and result of every use. Keep the two cemeteries separate. That would help answer the questions this first sample leaves open.

Keep the detour small

Before leaving your quest route, note the next hand-in and where you want to return. Wisp can keep supported leveling directions beside you while you explore. The shovel is an optional diversion, so there is no need to let it take over a session you wanted to spend questing.
