WoW Forever Excavation Site quests: a checklist before your dungeon run
Prepare your Excavation Site: Wetlands quests with Alliance and Horde pickup lists, prerequisite reminders, Titan Relic follow-ups and reward choices.
Pick up the quests before the party leaves
Excavation Site’s quests are spread across several hubs, and some need earlier quests completed first. Check your faction’s list before meeting the group so you can spend the run on objectives instead of discovering a missing pickup at the entrance.
Wowhead’s October 3 roundup lists these quests with a level 24 requirement. Blizzard’s dungeon range is 26–31, so being able to accept a quest does not mean a level 24 group is ready for the whole dungeon. This is a sourced preparation checklist, not a personally tested walkthrough.

Alliance pickups and prerequisites
Check the prerequisite quests before travelling to each giver. These are the pickup points reported by Wowhead.

Horde pickups and follow-ups
Changing Tastes is a city pickup. Open the Maw comes from an agent near the dungeon, while the relic chain begins with loot from the run.

Check the trinket and relic reward before choosing
Changing Tastes for Horde and Heartwoven for Alliance award Satchel of Potions. Its tooltip describes a usable trinket with a ten-minute cooldown. The source does not make it a guaranteed healing potion, so do not plan your group’s survival around an assumed effect.
The Alliance relic follow-up, Prehistoric Prism, sends you to High Explorer Magellas in Ironforge’s Hall of Explorers. The database offers a choice of Explorer’s League Dustcover, Healer’s Staff or Heavehammer. It requires level 24 and is not shareable. Your run may be over, but the reward chain still has a trip to finish.
For either faction, compare the final quest window with your equipped gear before accepting a reward. Make a note of the reward you want while you have time to read its tooltip.
A quick check with your party
Before entering, ask everyone to name the quests they have accepted. Make space in your bags for quest items and check the final boss’s loot before leaving. If a quest is missing, look at its earlier chain instead of assuming someone can share it.
Agree whether you are doing a full quest clear or a repeat run. For a first visit, leaving time to learn the dungeon is more useful than setting an XP-per-hour target.
Wisp’s free beta guides cover starting routes towards level 20. This written checklist helps with a later dungeon, but an Excavation Site route is not included in the addon’s current starting-route coverage.
