WoW Forever Verigan’s Fist: Paladin leveling weapon update
Verigan’s Fist gains Holy Forgefire in the Forever beta. Check the updated weapon stats, level 20 quest requirement and what to compare before replacing it.
What changed on Verigan’s Fist?
Verigan’s Fist now has Holy Forgefire in the Forever item data. The on-hit effect deals 39–59 Holyfire damage, with triple damage against Fire Elementals and Earth Elementals. Wowhead reported the change in the latest beta build on October 1.
That makes the level 20 Alliance Paladin quest reward worth checking again if you dismissed it earlier. The comparison also shows lower Stamina and Spirit, so read the whole item rather than treating the added proc as the only change.

How do you get it in Forever?
The Forever database lists Verigan’s Fist as the reward from The Test of Righteousness. Its final forging step requires level 20, is listed for Human and Dwarf Paladins, and starts and ends with Jordan Stilwell in Dun Morogh.
The linked page is the final step of a chain, not a claim that you can walk up and collect the weapon immediately at 20. Follow your available class quests and check their prerequisites before arranging a trip. We have not retested the full chain in this build.
Is it the best Paladin leveling weapon?
The new effect alone does not establish that. Listed weapon DPS does not include the extra damage from the proc, and these sources do not establish a tested activation rate. An elemental-specific bonus also matters differently in an elemental area than during an ordinary quest loop.
Compare the weapon you already have, the attributes you would lose and the time needed to finish the chain. If you already own Verigan’s Fist, check its current tooltip before spending money on a replacement.
If you are starting a Human or Dwarf Paladin, use the matching written starting route alongside your class quests. Wisp’s free beta can put those supported starting-route steps in game, but this article is not evidence that the addon includes the full Verigan’s Fist chain.
