How to choose a leveling talent build in Wisp

Use Wisp’s talent screen to preview builds, follow a leveling point order and create your own plan. Learn what selecting a build does before spending a point.

Choose the plan you want to follow

Open Wisp and type /wisp talents to reach Character > Talents. Pick a build card, read its details, then choose Use this build when you want to follow it. Previewing a card does not change your selected build, and selecting one does not spend or refund talent points.

The useful part is seeing your next decision alongside your leveling guide. You can check the upcoming point order without repeatedly finding your place in a finished talent-tree screenshot.

Return to your build while questing

In the guide, Choose build opens the same build cards. Once you have selected one, View build takes you back to its Talent tree. You do not need to choose a new plan every time you want to check it.

Open Talent reminders to pause or resume reminders. Next point details takes you to the helper for the upcoming point. If live talent information is unavailable, use Check talent data and wait for the game’s information before relying on a recommendation.

Choosing a build and learning a talent are different actions. Where supported and safe, the helper offers an explicit Add point action for one recommended rank. It does not automatically spend the rest of your saved points. If that action is unavailable, open the game’s talents and review the point there.

Already spent some points?

Wisp does not respec your character when you choose another plan. If your existing talents do not match the selected build, review the difference before continuing. Extra ranks, a changed tree or an edited plan can require another check.

You may prefer to keep the talents you already enjoy and make a personal plan around them. A build is there to help you make decisions, not to make your character feel wrong because you chose a different ability.

Make the plan your own

Open Custom builds, then Create build, to start a personal plan. To use a recommended build as your starting point, open its details and choose Copy & edit.

The editor lets you name the build, set ranks across the three trees and adjust the point order. Saving returns it to your custom build cards. Choose the saved card for guidance when you are ready to follow it.

For leveling, review the order as well as the final tree. Ask what each early point gives you during ordinary quests. A plan aimed at a later dungeon role may make different choices from one you want for an evening of solo questing.

Keep your route and your build within reach

Once you have chosen your build, return to the guide and carry on with your next quest. You can revisit the talents when a point becomes available or when your plans change.

If you are new to Wisp, start with the addon overview and choose a route for your character. The guide handles where you are going, while the talent screen keeps your chosen point order easy to find.
