WoW Forever Invite-A-Friend codes: how launch-week access works
Check where Forever Invite-A-Friend codes come from, the November 4–11 access window, and what to sort out before starting your leveling journey together.
The code covers a fixed launch week
Eligible friends can redeem an Invite-A-Friend code through Battle.net to play Forever during November 4–11, 2026 PST without a subscription or Game Time. This is a fixed event window, not seven days beginning whenever you redeem your code.

| Warcraft Forever Collection | 3 in total |
Where to look and what to check
Blizzard says code emails began on October 20 PST. Check the inbox used for your purchase, including filtered mail. Gift purchases are excluded from the offer and other restrictions apply.
An existing WoW subscription or Game Time already provides Forever access at launch. You do not need to buy an upgrade just to enter the game. Do not assume an invitation also grants the purchaser’s upgrade rewards.
Keep the code private when you share it
The Classic WoW subreddit has an Invite-A-Friend megathread for people offering or seeking codes. Its moderators warn against posting codes in plain text because bots may claim them. A comment asking for an invitation is not a guarantee you will receive one.
Our advice is to agree on the recipient first, then share the code privately. Redeem it in your own Battle.net account. You do not need to give another player your password to receive an invitation.
Make your first evening together easy
Once access is sorted, agree on the realm and faction before creating characters. Talk about how you want to play, too. One person reading every quest and another rushing to the next objective can turn a friendly start into a frustrating one.
Pick a modest first goal, such as finishing the opening area together. If someone joins late, meet at a convenient quest hub instead of asking them to catch up across the whole zone.
Wisp’s written leveling routes can help you choose a starting area. The addon brings guide steps into the game when you would rather keep your attention there. Each player should still check their own quest progress instead of assuming that being in a party completes every objective for everyone.
Plan around the end of the offer
Before setting aside a late session, check the access dates and conditions on Blizzard’s page. Do not promise a friend another full week because they joined near the end.
Keep the invitation conversation separate from buying upgrades. Let your friend try the game, see whether they enjoy the pace, and decide what they want to do next.
