WoW Forever launch times: November 4 and 5 in your region

One launch, different local dates
WoW Forever launches worldwide on November 4 at 3 pm Pacific Standard Time. That is 11 pm in the UK, midnight on November 5 in Central Europe, and the morning of November 5 in Australia. These are the same moment, not separate regional launches.

Do the boring setup before your friends log in
Our suggestion is to separate setup from playing. Download the game beforehand, check the version selected in Battle.net, and leave time for any remaining update. Use the game’s launch entry rather than assuming the old beta installation is the one you need.
If you are returning after a break, check which addons are enabled before loading your character. Start with the tools you actually want to use. It is easier to find an interface problem when you are not testing several unfamiliar addons at once.
Pick a starting plan you can enjoy
Agree on a realm, faction and starting race with your friends before launch. If your characters start in different areas, decide whether you want to quest separately first or arrange a meeting later. That small conversation can save your first evening from becoming a long run to find each other.
You do not need a minute-by-minute race to level 60. Choose a useful first stop, allow time to read your new abilities, and decide when you want to finish for the night. For UK players especially, the start is late.
If you want directions in the game, Wisp puts the current guide step and navigation beside your character. You can also read our written starting routes before logging in. Choose the route for your character rather than following a different race’s opening quests.
What if I am bringing a friend?
If your friend is joining through an Invite-A-Friend code, sort out redemption before your planned session. The launch-week offer has its own eligibility and dates. Our separate guide explains the difference between a code, a subscription and an upgrade purchase.
The announced opening time is a useful planning point, not a guarantee that every player will get straight into a realm. Leave some flexibility in your evening and check Blizzard’s service notices if you cannot connect.
