WoW Forever PvP ranks and rewards: the beta reward track

See the datamined Rank 1–14 reward unlocks, the distinction from Legacy rewards, and which weekly-cap details still need confirmation.

What do PvP ranks unlock?

Wowhead’s beta extract lists 14 PvP reward ranks, from a faction tabard to weapons. These are provisional unlock descriptions, not a verified shopping list. The report connects the system to developer discussion of progression within each patch cycle.

Datamined rewards by rank

RankReward category
1Faction tabard
2Insignia trinket
3Cloak
4Necklace
5Combat potions
6Elite tabard
7Battle standard
8Wrist and waist armour
9Boots
10Gloves
11Black War mounts
12Shoulders and legs
13Head and chest armour
14Weapons

Does unlocking a rank automatically give you the item?

An unlock label is not evidence of automatic delivery or a final price. Check the current vendor requirements before planning a purchase. We have not verified acquisition in game, so this table does not promise an item merely for reaching its listed rank.

Weekly caps, Honor and Rank Points: what remains unverified

A September 18 community datamine of build 1.60.1.69876 describes separate Rank Points and Honor currencies, a rising seasonal ceiling and catch-up for later starters. It also proposes a ten-week path to Rank 14. We have not independently reproduced those details from the client or verified them in play.

Do not schedule a Rank 14 grind around those numbers yet. Exact caps, match rewards, vendor costs and launch implementation still need confirmation. The linked post is a research lead; its precise figures are deliberately excluded from the reward table.

PvP ranks and Legacy rewards are different tracks

The same Wowhead report contains a separate Legacy reward track, including an air rifle, bear cub, tabard and mount. Those milestones concern Legacy progression; they are not character-level rewards or entries in the PvP rank table.

How to use this while levelling

Choose your levelling ruleset with your friends before deciding how heavily to pursue PvP. Keep an equipment wish list, but leave room for quest and dungeon upgrades while reward requirements settle.

For a useful beta note, record the client build, your rank, the vendor item and its displayed requirements together. Keep currency earned during a match separate from points awarded at completion. That makes later changes easier to understand.
