WoW Forever Call of Earth: the Shaman Earth totem quest for every race
How to complete Call of Earth in WoW Forever as a Dwarf, Orc, Troll, Tauren or Skyborne Shaman. Quest givers, the items to bring, where to drink the Earth Sapta and the Stoneskin Totem reward.
What is Call of Earth in WoW Forever?
Call of Earth is the first Shaman totem quest. It is a three-part chain at quest level 4. Dwarf, Orc, Troll and Tauren Shamans can start it at level 4, and Horde Skyborne Shamans at level 3.
Every version follows the same pattern. Bring your trainer an item or two from nearby enemies. Then drink the Earth Sapta at a sacred site and speak to the Minor Manifestation of Earth. Finally, carry the Rough Quartz back to your trainer. The final part teaches Stoneskin Totem.

Call of Earth by race
Your version depends on your race. Find your row, then read the matching section below for directions. The locations come from Wisp’s routes.
| Race | Quest giver | Bring | Earth Sapta site |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dwarf | Teo Hammerstorm, inside Anvilmar | 2 bear pendants | Spirit Stone, up the mountain path |
| Orc and Troll | Canaga Earthcaller, Valley of Trials | 2 Felstalker Hooves | Spirit Rock |
| Tauren | Seer Ravenfeather, Camp Narache | 2 Ritual Salves | Kodo Rock |
| Skyborne (Horde) | Windshaper Boro, Thendal Grove | 1 Signet of Akir | Rise of Spirits |
Dwarf Shaman: Teo Hammerstorm in Anvilmar
Teo Hammerstorm is inside Anvilmar. In Wisp’s Dwarf route, you first take the Archaic Rune from Sten Stoutarm to Teo, then accept Call of Earth before heading to the troll cave.
Part one asks for two Frostmane Bear Pendants, but the quest counter tracks Iceclaw Bear Pendants. Wisp’s route collects them from Frostmane Troll Whelps during the Coldridge Valley cave visit. Go by the item counter, not the name in the quest text.
For part two, leave Anvilmar and find the mountain path at about 25.8, 69.3. Follow it up to the Spirit Stone at about 25.0, 62.4. Drink the Earth Sapta there and speak to the Minor Manifestation of Earth.
For part three, carry the Rough Quartz back down to Teo in Anvilmar.
Orc and Troll Shaman: Canaga Earthcaller
Canaga Earthcaller is in the Valley of Trials. Part one asks for two Felstalker Hooves, which Wisp’s route collects from Felstalkers during the Burning Blade cave visit.
Part two is at Spirit Rock, at about 44.0, 76.2 in Durotar. Take the Hidden Path south from the Den and follow it up, rather than trying to cross the cliff directly. Drink the Earth Sapta and speak to the Minor Manifestation of Earth.
For part three, bring the Rough Quartz back to Canaga.
Tauren Shaman: Seer Ravenfeather
Seer Ravenfeather is in Camp Narache. Part one asks for two Ritual Salves, which Wisp’s route collects from Bristleback Shamans in Brambleblade Ravine.
For part two, head east from Camp Narache to Kodo Rock, south of the Brambleblade Ravine entrance, at about 52.0, 80.4 in Mulgore. Drink the Earth Sapta and speak to the Minor Manifestation of Earth.
For part three, return the Rough Quartz to Seer Ravenfeather.
Skyborne Shaman: Windshaper Boro on Zephras Isle
Only Horde Skyborne can be Shamans. Windshaper Boro gives Call of Earth in Thendal Grove, and you can take it from level 3.
Part one asks for a Signet of Akir. Wisp’s route collects it from the Al’Aketh converts at the standing stones east of Thendal Grove, during Yala’s cultist outing.
For part two, take the pass northeast of Thendal up to the Rise of Spirits, at about 49.7, 23.8. Drink the Earth Sapta and speak to the Minor Manifestation of Earth.
For part three, bring the Rough Quartz back to Boro, at about 42.8, 23.6. Wowhead also lists 50 reputation with the Windshapers for this part.
Stoneskin Totem and what comes next
The final part of every version teaches Stoneskin Totem. Check your spellbook after the turn-in and put it on your action bars.
The next totem quest is Call of Fire. Our Call of Fire guide covers the Fire Tar and Reagent Pouch for each race, plus what to do when the spawns are crowded.
