WoW Forever class quests: what to check while leveling
A class-by-class Forever leveling checklist for pet training, Cat Form, class visits and racial rewards. Check quest levels and race restrictions before travelling.
Find your class quest checkpoint
Class quests can change what your character can do, not just add another hand-in. Pet training, Cat Form and racial spells deserve a place in your leveling plan before you travel several zones away.
Choose your class below for a useful quest to check. This is a curated checklist of current Forever examples, not a complete walkthrough for every race. Follow the named race or faction and your own quest log. A familiar Classic quest can have a different requirement in Forever.

Class quests at a glance
These levels come from the selected quest records. They are not a schedule of every ability your class learns.
| Class | When to check | Example quest |
|---|---|---|
| Warrior | 10 | Bartleby the Drunk |
| Hunter | 10 | Taming the Beast |
| Mage | 10 | Speak with Jennea → Mirror Lake |
| Paladin | 12 | The Tome of Divinity |
| Priest | 20 | Arcane Feedback |
| Rogue | 16 | Redridge Rendezvous → Alther’s Mill |
| Shaman | 10 | Call of Fire |
| Warlock | 1 minimum | The Stolen Tome |
| Druid | 20 | The Great Cat Spirit |
Warrior: Bartleby the Drunk
Human / Stormwind example. Check at level 10.
Talk to Harry Burlguard, then Bartleby in Stormwind.
The brawl is one part of a training chain. Finish the return steps and check your spellbook before heading back out. It is easy to leave a class visit half finished when the next ordinary quest is in another zone.
Hunter: Taming the Beast
Dwarf / Kharanos example. Check at level 10.
Visit Grif Wildheart in Kharanos.
The first Dwarf task uses the supplied Taming Rod on a Large Crag Boar. Return to Grif and continue the subsequent training quests. A temporary creature used for the lesson is not the same as having completed pet training.
Mage: Speak with Jennea → Mirror Lake
Alliance example. Check at level 10.
Follow the trainer referral to Jennea Cannon in Stormwind.
Mirror Lake gives you Jennea’s Flask for a water sample at the lake southwest of the city. Check the quest reward and complete the return visit before resuming your route. This is a class quest detour, not a claim that every Mage must do it to unlock a core spell.
Paladin: The Tome of Divinity
Human example. Check at level 12.
See Duthorian Rall in Stormwind and read the tome provided.
The current Forever record requires level 12. Do not follow an old Classic checklist that tells this Human character to start at 10. This begins a longer chain, so follow each step through to its reward rather than treating receipt of the book as completion.
Priest: Arcane Feedback
Human only. Check at level 20.
Visit High Priestess Laurena in Stormwind.
The Human quest record teaches Feedback. That is a racial class reward, not a universal level-20 Priest unlock. If you play another race, check its own trainer and class quest rather than making the same trip expecting the same spell.
Rogue: Redridge Rendezvous → Alther’s Mill
Alliance example. Check at level 16.
Follow Renzik’s referral to Lucius in Lakeshire.
Alther’s Mill sends you to recover the Token of Thievery from Lucius’s Lockbox using the supplied tools. Bring the Thieves’ Tools and finish the return to Lucius. Treat this as a lockpicking lesson, not a promise that the quest alone grants every part of Rogue training.
Shaman: Call of Fire
Orc, Tauren and Troll record. Check at level 10.
Take Kranal Fiss’s referral to Telf Joolam in Durotar.
This step provides the Torch of the Dormant Flame and leads into the Fire Totem chain. Keep the quest item and follow the remaining tasks. If you get stuck at the Fire Tar or Reagent Pouch stage, use the focused walkthrough linked below.
Warlock: The Stolen Tome
Northshire example. Available from level 1 in the current record.
Speak with Drusilla La Salle and recover Powers of the Void from the vineyard camp.
The current record lists Summon Imp as the learned reward. It displays quest level 4 but a minimum level of 1, so do not confuse the suggested quest level with the requirement to accept it. Other starting areas have their own class introductions.
Druid: The Great Cat Spirit
Follow your faction’s chain. Check at level 20.
Meet Dendrite Starblaze in Nighthaven, Moonglade.
The Cat Form trial involves three relics in Stormrage Barrow Den. Follow the blessing and final return to your faction’s trainer after collecting them. Use the full walkthrough for the spirit variants and finish the hand-in that teaches Cat Form.
Put class quests beside your regular leveling steps
Our written starting routes include a class choice. Select your character’s race and class to see the authored class steps alongside ordinary quests, then check the route’s coverage notes. This checklist can help you spot a class visit worth checking without pretending every route or beta quest is already verified.
For directions in game, Wisp keeps your next supported guide step and the way there together. It does not choose your talents or complete quests for you. Watch the walkthrough to see the guide panel, navigation and settings before installing.
