The proposed Arms levelling build

This Arms-first plan is for a Warrior questing with a two-handed weapon, usually fighting one enemy at a time. It keeps the early journey in one tree through Mortal Strike, then adds Fury support. The reason to try it is a coherent set of attacks and a clear weapon assumption. A better weapon or a regular tanking group can change that decision.

At level 60, the allocation is 31/20/0 in the tree order shown below. The table assumes a fresh character with no Talented Legacy ranks and spends one point each level from 10 to 60. Point 31 is Mortal Strike at level 40.

Warrior talent order, level by level

Read from top to bottom. A level range means spend one point per level in that talent; the rank range shows your resulting ranks, not extra points to add all at once. Repeated talents resume an earlier investment. This order checks the published tier gates and prerequisites without requiring a respec.

The level-60 endpoint is a planning target, not a claim that the current beta level cap lets you reach it. If you already have a different allocation, compare the prerequisites before copying the next row.

How to approach solo questing with this build

Use the early levels to learn how much Rage a normal enemy leaves you. Keep enough for the action that will finish the fight or prevent a dangerous cast; pressing every available button can leave the next decision unavailable. Compare the same type of enemy before changing the allocation.

The proposed order connects Rend, critical strikes and Overpower, then reaches Sweeping Strikes and Mortal Strike. Treat a second target as a deliberate decision: first check health, nearby patrols and the space needed to retreat. A cleave button is not a reason to turn every pull into a group.

Weaponmaster accommodates several two-handed weapon families. Choose among weapons you can actually obtain and use; do not buy an expensive weapon solely to satisfy a theoretical build. Keep weapon changes in your notes so their effect is not mistaken for a talent improvement.

Dungeon play and alternative talent choices

For occasional dungeon damage, start with the same allocation and focus on target selection. Sweeping Strikes needs particular care near crowd-controlled enemies. Ask the tank which target to follow before using attacks that can reach a second enemy.

For regular dungeon tanking, make a separate Protection plan around a shield, threat and survival. This two-handed allocation does not establish tank readiness. A Fury comparison also needs its own weapon and hit assumptions; switching to two weapons changes more than the tree name.

Adjusting the order for the Talented Legacy perk

Wowhead’s calculator models Talented ranks 1–5 as moving the first talent point from level 10 down to levels 9–5, while keeping the maximum at 51. Under that model, subtract your Talented rank from every level in the order above. For example, with rank 3, the first point is at level 7 and point 31 is at level 37.

This shifts the proposed point schedule; it does not award more than 51 points or prove that every associated ability is available earlier. The default plan assumes rank 0. Use only the rank actually active on your character and verify the rules in the client.

Earlier talent points do not establish earlier access to stances, trained attacks or suitable weapons. Check those separately before expecting the shifted plan to play like a higher-level Warrior.

Open the build and compare the calculators

The populated ForeverChanges link opens this guide’s final level-60 allocation. Use the order above for the journey to that endpoint. The separate Wowhead link opens the class calculator so you can inspect and experiment with its tree; it is not a prefilled copy of this build.

At review, Wowhead still displayed a BlizzCon-footage data warning. This guide uses the newer build-attributed extract for talent constraints. If a calculator shows a different rank, position or prerequisite, stop at that difference and check its source date instead of forcing the allocation to fit. Saved links can also change meaning when an external calculator updates its trees.

What needs checking in the Forever client

Record the client build, level, talents, equipment and enemies before comparing two choices. Use several similar pulls, and include travel, recovery, interruptions and deaths. Keep solo observations separate from dungeon results. The checks below are the specific questions this proposal should answer.

  • Rage left after comparable single-target fights.
  • Whether stance changes and Overpower opportunities fit your attention and keybinds.
  • Recovery and deaths when using Sweeping Strikes compared with single pulls.

Warrior levelling talent questions

Is this the best Warrior levelling build? It is a complete, sourced proposal for two-handed questing. We have no comparative Forever playtests that establish it as the fastest or safest choice.

Can I follow it without Legacy perks? Yes: the main order uses no Talented ranks and allocates all 51 points from levels 10–60. You can adjust the schedule with the separate Legacy table.

Does Wisp select these talents in game? No. This is a free website guide. The current addon does not provide this talent recommendation system or spend talent points for you. Its available routes and testing status are described on the addon page.
