The proposed Enhancement levelling build

This Enhancement plan is for melee questing with spell support. It reaches Rage of the Farseer, completes Improved Stormstrike, and then takes Restoration utility for a final 0/32/19 allocation. It is a mixed-toolkit proposal: the player still needs to decide when a spell, totem or heal is worth the resource cost.

At level 60, the allocation is 0/32/19 in the tree order shown below. The table assumes a fresh character with no Talented Legacy ranks and spends one point each level from 10 to 60. Point 31 is Rage of the Farseer at level 40.

Shaman talent order, level by level

Read from top to bottom. A level range means spend one point per level in that talent; the rank range shows your resulting ranks, not extra points to add all at once. Repeated talents resume an earlier investment. This order checks the published tier gates and prerequisites without requiring a respec.

The level-60 endpoint is a planning target, not a claim that the current beta level cap lets you reach it. If you already have a different allocation, compare the prerequisites before copying the next row.

How to approach solo questing with this build

Choose the weapon and imbue for the way you intend to fight, then keep those conditions stable while trying the talent order. Do not repeatedly replace totems without considering whether the next target will be fought in the same place. Travel and recovery can consume the time saved during combat.

Stormstrike and Maelstrom Weapon connect the melee and spell parts of this proposal. Watch the actual buff before deciding when to cast. Spirit Weapons has an imbue-dependent threat effect in the extracted tooltip, so check the active imbue before joining a group as damage.

The Restoration follow-up adds resource tools and healing support. Water Shield and Lightning Shield are alternatives, not simultaneous buffs: select the shield that fits the encounter and inspect which one is active. Save Mana Tide for a point where its recovery can be used rather than dropping it just before leaving.

Dungeon play and alternative talent choices

For dungeon damage, discuss totems, interrupts and target selection with the group. An imbue or threat assumption that worked while solo may be inappropriate when someone else is tanking.

Elemental casting and dedicated Restoration healing require their own gear and talent assumptions. This plan includes some healing support, but that does not establish it as the preferred allocation for a full evening healing dungeons. Evaluate that role with a separate spell and recovery log.

Adjusting the order for the Talented Legacy perk

Wowhead’s calculator models Talented ranks 1–5 as moving the first talent point from level 10 down to levels 9–5, while keeping the maximum at 51. Under that model, subtract your Talented rank from every level in the order above. For example, with rank 3, the first point is at level 7 and point 31 is at level 37.

This shifts the proposed point schedule; it does not award more than 51 points or prove that every associated ability is available earlier. The default plan assumes rank 0. Use only the rank actually active on your character and verify the rules in the client.

Improved Ghost Wolf and other early investments do not grant the associated trained abilities. Earlier points and actual form, weapon and totem access need separate checks.

Open the build and compare the calculators

The populated ForeverChanges link opens this guide’s final level-60 allocation. Use the order above for the journey to that endpoint. The separate Wowhead link opens the class calculator so you can inspect and experiment with its tree; it is not a prefilled copy of this build.

At review, Wowhead still displayed a BlizzCon-footage data warning. This guide uses the newer build-attributed extract for talent constraints. If a calculator shows a different rank, position or prerequisite, stop at that difference and check its source date instead of forcing the allocation to fit. Saved links can also change meaning when an external calculator updates its trees.

What needs checking in the Forever client

Record the client build, level, talents, equipment and enemies before comparing two choices. Use several similar pulls, and include travel, recovery, interruptions and deaths. Keep solo observations separate from dungeon results. The checks below are the specific questions this proposal should answer.

  • Mana spent on shocks and replacing totems during a complete quest loop.
  • Maelstrom use and the active Elemental Shield.
  • Threat behaviour with the chosen imbue in a group.

Shaman levelling talent questions

Is this the best Shaman levelling build? It is a complete, sourced proposal for melee questing with spell support. We have no comparative Forever playtests that establish it as the fastest or safest choice.

Can I follow it without Legacy perks? Yes: the main order uses no Talented ranks and allocates all 51 points from levels 10–60. You can adjust the schedule with the separate Legacy table.

Does Wisp select these talents in game? No. This is a free website guide. The current addon does not provide this talent recommendation system or spend talent points for you. Its available routes and testing status are described on the addon page.
