WoW Forever Unbowed: Cormack’s story and playing an Undead Paladin
Watch Blizzard’s Unbowed short story, find the official PDF and meet Cormack before planning your own Undead Paladin in WoW Forever.
Who is Cormack in Unbowed?
Cormack was a Scarlet Crusader before being raised as Forsaken. Blizzard’s new WoW Forever story follows his struggle with that second life and his relationship with the Light.
It is an interesting place to begin if an Undead Paladin appeals to you. The character has to face beliefs that once defined him from the other side of the conflict. We are leaving the ending to the story itself.

Blizzard’s announcement includes the official video below and a downloadable version of the story. Sean Copeland wrote it, Surfside 3D provided the illustrations, and Jesse Burch voices Cormack.
The official PDF is linked in the sources at the bottom of this page. Choose that if you would rather read at your own pace.
Can you play an Undead Paladin in WoW Forever?
Yes. Blizzard’s official race and class table includes Paladin among the Undead options. You do not have to infer that from Cormack or from the new video.
The story announcement does not describe an unlock quest or a reward for watching it. Use it as background for your character. For how the class plays, move on to the Paladin guide and your starting route.
Plan your first evening in Tirisfal
Once you have a character in mind, read through the opening part of the Undead route. Choose Paladin in the class controls to see the class-specific steps included in that guide.
You do not need to memorise every objective before playing. Get a feel for the opening journey, then use Wisp’s in-game guide if you would like the next step beside you while you explore. The story gives you a reason to care about the character. The route helps you get started.
