What has been reported in Durotar and the Barrens?
A September 18 account from an Orc Mage after roughly ten hours of beta play describes additional quests and travel stops along the early Horde journey. This is one player’s report, not a completed ForeverWisp route test.
Places to check on your next visit
| Area | Player-reported observation | What still needs checking |
|---|---|---|
| Valley of Trials | Profession quests alongside the familiar starter content | Quest names, eligibility and rewards |
| Razor Hill and Durotar coast | Additional quests, including a coastal murloc objective | Quest giver, prerequisites and exact location |
| Razor Hill–Orgrimmar road | A travelling goblin selling trade supplies and early green items | NPC name, stock and travel pattern |
| Echo Isles | A small village and flight path | Flight master, connections and unlock conditions |
| Western Barrens / Stonetalon border | A settlement with quests and a flight path | Settlement name, access and quest levels |
Has the Crossroads quest route changed?
The player reports that the opening Crossroads quests send them farther south and says they did not see Forgotten Pools. That does not establish that the quest was removed: prerequisites, character state or simple oversight could explain its absence.
How to adapt your levelling session
At a hub you are already visiting, inspect new quest rewards and objectives before leaving. Add nearby objectives to your next loop only when their level and direction fit. Avoid crossing a zone solely for an unverified report.
When you encounter a flight master, check the map after learning the location. A discovered stop and a usable connection are not the same observation. For a moving vendor, record where and when you saw it; one sighting does not establish a permanent spawn point.
- Save the quest name and objective text before comparing with an old Classic guide.
- Record your level, race, class and completed prerequisites.
- Check the reward panel and confirm the actual hand-in.
- Include travel and recovery when comparing routes.
Can I follow a complete new Horde route here?
This article is a checklist of reported changes, not turn-by-turn directions. We have not verified coordinates, a complete class-quest inventory or an optimised order for the new content.
Wisp downloads are paused pending Forever beta compatibility and route verification. Website reporting does not mean these changes are implemented in a playable addon guide.
More help for the first levels
For a separately sourced example of changed starter rewards, see our Dun Morogh bag-quest report. It does not establish an equivalent bag quest in Durotar. Use the beta troubleshooting guide if a quest fails or the client behaves inconsistently.
