WoW Forever reputations: new factions found in beta data

A concise guide to the datamined Hyjal, Skyborne and Darkspear Islands faction names, with a map preview and what remains unknown about rewards.

The Darkspear Islands map from the client-data gallery provides context for the two rival reputation names. It does not establish objectives, rewards or reputation gains.

Which reputation names have been found?

Wowhead’s extract includes these new faction records. The descriptions below summarise their story connections; they do not establish playable allegiance or reputation eligibility.

A new record is not necessarily a new Warcraft organisation

The same extract also contains familiar entries such as Timbermaw Hold, Ravasaur Trainers and Shen’dralar. A “new” marker describes a data change, not proof that an organisation is newly invented or that every record will be an earnable launch reputation.

Use the names to organise exploration

Our recommendation is to keep a short watchlist around places you already intend to visit. If you are following the Skyborne story, note faction introductions as you encounter them. If your interest is Hyjal, collect the relevant quest and reward information during that journey. The table gives you names to recognise without asking you to make an unverified grinding commitment.

For each first encounter, record the actual faction shown in the reputation panel, the quest or activity that changed it, and your standing before and after. Keep those observations with the build number. That is enough to start distinguishing a story contact from a progression system.

Darkspear Islands: a map and two rival names

The map at the top of this article is a separate datamined asset from Wowhead’s map gallery. Its drawn bridges and terrain help orient the preview, but cannot establish objectives, scoring, queue access or reputation gains.

For a future PvP guide, we need to know which activities award progress and what a player can buy at each standing. We will keep match rewards, reputation progression and any other ranking system separate when those details can be checked.

Are rewards, quartermasters or farming routes known?

The name-and-description extract used here does not provide a verified reward catalogue, quartermaster locations, reputation thresholds or a fastest farming method. We have not established those details from this source.

Before investing time in a reputation, check the reward you actually want, its required standing, and how your character can earn progress. Then compare that activity with your existing quest or dungeon plan. A familiar faction name is not enough reason to copy a farming route from another edition of WoW.

  • Identify a specific obtainable reward.
  • Verify the vendor and standing requirement in the current build.
  • Record the activity and reputation gained.
  • Include prerequisites and travel when comparing methods.
